The goal of this class project was to create a several-page mockup to visually design a fictional National Geographic Extreme travel website. I created 10 web pages that adhered to National Geographic's branding to transform the site to a cleaner, simpler design for a more enjoyable user experience.
Similar to my Design Process example, I hold this project dear to my heart out of nostalgia. It was with this project that I realized that web design, though it seemed daunting, was achievable. That is the beauty of design and why I am so fascinated by it: when you know how to use design principles and to follow a design process, you can design (almost) anything! It may take some learning, extra hands, and research, but that’s the fun part. ◡̈
